The LTFAPA laboratory is specialized in the analysis of lithic, ceramic, bone, and metallic archaeological artefacts for the determination of the raw material, taphonomic alteration phenomena, morphological and topographic characteristics, technological traces, traces of use and micro-residues of use.
The laboratory includes seven workstations for researchers and students. It is equipped with a room dedicated to microscopy, a space dedicated to the conservation and cleaning of samples and a space dedicated to the reproduction of ceramic.
