Lapis-Laboratori Permanenti sulle Iscrizioni-
Lapis - Laboratori Permanenti Iscrizioni is a cycle of inter-university doctoral seminars dedicated to Greek and Latin epigraphy, jointly organized by PhD students from the three universities of Rome (La Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre). The seminars are held as paired presentations: each meeting is devoted to a common macro-theme to which each speaker contributes with an individual presentation. The total duration of each session is approximately one hour (30 minutes per presentation), followed by a final discussion. The session is chaired by a professor.
Meetings take place in person, on a rotating basis, at one of the three universities of Rome, following the chronological order of their foundation. The aim of the project is to promote the sharing of research and projects among PhD students and PhD graduates interested in Greek and Latin epigraphy.
For further information, please write to progettolapisroma@gmail.com
The next meeting will take place on 28 January 2026 at 14:30 at Università La Sapienza, Faculty of Lettere e Filosofia, first floor, Aula V; the meeting will be moderated by Prof.ssa Orlandi Silvia
